The Dr James Burty David Municipal Complex has been innaugurated on the 22nd July 2011 in the presence of the Vice-Prime Minister, Minister of Social Integration and Economic Empowerment.
Also present was the Honourable Herve Aimee, Minister of Local Government and Outer Islands.
The Deputy, Ms Nita Deerpalsingh, member of the parliament was also present during this ceremony.
The Dr James Burty David Municipal Complex is surrounded by the Leisure Park and it is situated in Sodnac. The leisure park provide the residents with a peaceful place to relax. Children also benefit from this as a children playground has been constructed there.
The Municipal Complex has a lot to offer. Inhabitants can play various indoor games as seen in the pictures. A cybercafe and a library are also available.
The people of Quatre Bornes are invited to use these facilities as much as they can as everything is free of charge except for a refundable deposit for library materials.
